Group Tours
The American Countryside Farmers Market is a popular and frequently visited destination in Northern Indiana Amish country for large and small bus tour groups. The 51,000 square foot building offers a unique and enjoyable "under one roof" climate controlled experience. Groups come from Canada, and all over the United States to participate in demonstration kitchen shows, entertainment, and, of course, fabulous shopping opportunities.
Thursday through Saturday the market is open year round so groups can come in any weather. From May to Labor Day we add Wednesdays to our week in order to give Bus Groups another day to visit the Market. Special programs will be available throughout the year and our beautiful Quilt Garden draws both gardeners and quilters during the summer growing months. Fresh produce, bakery goods and deli meats are just some of the food items which can be bought and taken home in your coolers or ones we have available here.
The shopping experience is always enhanced by our Food Court offerings, which draw visitors with their delectable aromas as soon as the welcome mat is thrown out. Elevators and numerous seating areas make the time at the Market relaxing and comfortable.
Let us roll out the red carpet for you and your guests when you arrive by registering with us and telling us when you are coming! We will "hop on the bus" and give you and your guests a quick overview of what makes our big red barn so special. If you wish to make a lunch voucher a part of your tour package, we can create those for your guests as well. We have ample parking for buses and a special loading and unloading area.
